Reviews and Ratings
The hotel radiated warmth throughout the property and even provided Tunnock's teacakes on the welcome tray in the well-appointed rooms. The service was outstanding with a personal touch, including a guided walk by the river from the polite and helpful staff. The breathtaking location with a mix of history and modern amenities made it a perfect stay. The dining experience was great, especially after a satisfying breakfast and convenient on-site parking.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were fantastic with great views and lots of space, although I did find it a bit too warm at times. The service was absolutely professional and welcoming, making my experience outstanding. The location was fabulous, quiet, and offered a lovely view of the river. The dining experience was overall very good. The hotel had excellent value and quality, making it a terrific choice.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had all the expected amenities but could do with an update, which was disappointing. The service was a bit hit or miss with some frustrating instances, despite having another great stay overall. The location was stunning, particularly on a beautiful autumn day, but there were some issues with noise in riverside bedrooms. The dining had everything you wanted but lacked a certain level of privacy. Overall, it was a peaceful stay with a lovely setting.
The hotel is in a lovely property with some charming features but needs improvement in certain areas. The rooms are in need of upgrading, yet it was nice to have a bath and shower available. The service was a mix of forgetfulness but also genuine care from the staff. The location has potential but requires attention to details for a more positive first impression. The dining experience offered everything we needed, but there were some drawbacks. Overall, the hotel has its highs and lows, making it a decent choice with room for enhancement.
My stay at the hotel was simply delightful. The room was stunning, overlooking the River Dee, providing a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of space and a lovely bathroom. I enjoyed a lovely view of the river and the enthusiastic golfers passing by. The hotel was very spacious, comfortable, with riverside walks, and offered great meals at breakfast and dinner.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The room was spacious, overlooking the river, and dog friendly, offering stunning views. The lovely walk by the river and the fantastic picnic site made the experience even more delightful. I will definitely come back next year. Thanks so much, guys! - Heather & George & dogs
